Today I found a nail in one of my tires. Bad luck. I took my car in and ALL of my tires needed replacing (they were only a year old!) I just blew $700 and they did not take the type of credit card I have (Visa???!!!?!!?!) so I had to debit it from my checking account and I haven’t been paid at all recently due to the job switching. I was sweating major bullets because I didn’t know how much was in my account and I was not really prepared to spend so much out of the blue.

However! I got home and checked my bank account and I had significantly more than enough. I am really proud of myself for managing my money well and trying to be frugal lately. It pays off!

I’m skipping day 7 because it’s got me stuck (don’t worry, I’ll come back to it).

Day 8 is boring- short term goals for this month: - get adjusted to new job- figure out a good work schedule and focus on bonding with new teammates. This is going really well so far- I love my team-the work schedule is a little goofy but we’re figuring it out. - grad school stuff- get to studying for GRE and make list of schools. - clean out closet and throw away junk. - meet parents for dinner (but might not happen, dad has to have surgery soon)

Batman.

Batman is the most awesomest superhero ever because he’s really badass and is good at everything. He’s also a normal (but super rich) guy which is pretty damn cool. Plus, Christian Bale is hot. Batman has been my hero since I was four years old, and that’s a pretty long time. I’ll never give up on him <3

day 5- a picture of somewhere you’ve been to.

This is the city of Saint-Malo, in Brittany, France. The city is completely walled and most of the city is made out of stone from the 1500s or something crazy like that. It’s fabulous, but touristy!
